Welcome to the Fourth Grade Webpage!
Our focus for Winter is multi-faceted, ranging from the presidents who so proudly lead our land; to the African-American achievers who have helped shape today's America. We have learned, through the pre and early history of N.J. that each of us has an important contribution, in spite of our differences.
To quote Jesse Jackson:
" America is not like a blanket-- One piece of unbroken cloth: the same color, the same texture, the same size. -- America is more like a quilt-- many patches, many pieces, many colors, many sizes; all woven and held together by a common thread."
We look forward to the Philharmonic visiting our school and teaching us about their instruments that melodically work together to create musical messages. Has the simple sound of music ever invoked tears or smiles in your life? Music makes memories, and so will our experience with the talented musicians.
HAPPY 2010! May the new year and the new decade bring for each of your families exciting adventures, happy moments together, and lots of fun!
